Interjections – வியப்புச்சொல்
An interjection is a word or phrase that expresses emotions such as surprise, happiness, anger, pain, or agreement.
பேச்சின் பொழுது வியப்பு, ஆச்சரியம் போன்ற உணர்வை வெளிப்படுத்தப் பயன்படும் சொற்கள் வியப்பிடைச்சொற்களாகும். Interjection என்றால் திடீர் உச்சரிப்புகள், உணர்வுகளை (மகிழ்ச்சி, சோகம், ஆச்சரியம், வலி, கோபம்) வெளிப்படுத்தும் சொற்கள்.

A. Interjections of Surprise (ஆச்சரிய இடையுரைகள்)
Used to show shock, astonishment, wonder.

C. Interjections of Grief/Sorrow (சோகம்/வலி)
Express sadness, pain, regret.

Oh no! – ஓ நோ!, அப்படியா!

Ah! – ஓஹோ!, சில சமயம் வலி அல்லது சோகம்.

Oops! – ஏதோ தவறு செய்த போது (ஐயயோ).

Express appreciation, encouragement, positive support.

G. Interjections of Hesitation or Thinking (சிந்தனை/சந்தேகம்)
Show pause, uncertainty, thinking.

Er… – ஹா… (சிந்திக்கும்போது).
